Fairy
Fairies are one of the most common creatures in the magical world. Garden fairies are known by fae-folk as a pest species, and infestations are a common problem.

Fairies are very drawn to magical energy, and will swarm to particularly potent magical sources like moths to a flame.

The long feathers at the tops of their heads and the bases of their tails are the most magically potent part of fairies. The tail feathers are also a way to tell males and females apart, as only females have these long tail feathers. Thus, female fairies are far more magically potent and are also larger than most males.
Fairies come in a variety of shapes and sizes. They typically have at least two sets of eyes, though there are very rare cases where they may have one set, or even none at all.
